Jump Bunny Jump Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the orange play button to begin the game.
  • Below the play button are the following:

  • Access the shop by selecting the shop button on the bottom left corner.
  • Your previous and best scores are shown on the bottom center of the screen. Your web browser automatically saves your best scores.

    • With your mouse
      • Left click, drag, then release to fire the bunny from the ballista.
      • Left click and drag to steer the bunny while airborne.
      • Left click on any of the power ups to use them.
    • With your keyboard
      • Fire the bunny by pressing the space bar.
      • Use the left and right arrow keys to steer.
      • Use the following keys to activate any of your power ups:
        • Q activates the rocket.
        • W activates the magnet.
        • E activates the balloon.
        • R activates the aviator mask.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers
      • Tap and pull, then release, to fire the bunny.
      • Tap and swipe to steer the bunny.
      • Tap on the power up to use it.
• Game Play
  • Basic
    • Use the ballista to fire the bunny upwards
      • Steer the bunny around to avoid hazards and pick up collectible items.
      • If you steer to the edge of the screen, the bunny will reappear on the opposite side. Use this to your advantage.
      • The appearance of the background changes as you ascend.
    • Collect coins to keep going up.
    • Pick up and activate power ups to bolster your ascent.
    • Your score is based on how far you go.
      • See your current score on the top left corner.
  • Staying airborne
    • Coins
      • Collecting coins lets you continuously ascend. This is the primary way you can keep going up.
      • Go too long without collecting any coins or landing on a platform, and you could plummet.
      • Coins can be used to buy items in the shop.
        • The larger the coins, the bigger their value.
        • The number of coins you’ve collected can be seen on the upper left corner.
        • Power ups which are in the game are also sold in the shop for 100 coins each.
    • Power ups
      • Power ups provide you with various benefits.
        • 4 of these power ups can be activated via the bottom of the screen. Each of these you collect can carry over to your next game.
          • Rocket: Gives you a speed boost via a rocket pack
          • Magnet: Brings coins to you automatically (which also causes you to ascend automatically)
          • Balloon: Inflates the bunny’s head and makes
          • Aviator mask: Lets the bunny use their ears as propellers
        • One power up, the shield, activates automatically when you collect it. This protects you from spikes and other hazards.
        • The duration of each of the 4 activatable power ups is shown by a countdown above their icons on the bottom center of the screen.
        • You can replenish 4 of your power ups by collecting them as you find them or by buying more of them on the store.
    • Platforms
      • Platforms in general can give you a slight boost in momentum. Keep landing on the top side of platforms to keep going up in the absence of coins.
      • There are 4 types of platforms.
        • Wooden platforms are temporary. They break apart once you land on them one time.
        • Earthen platforms are permanent. You can keep jumping on top of them when needed.
        • Trampolines act as a platform and give you a massive temporary boost.
        • Metal platforms have spikes beneath them, making them hazards if the bunny is below them
      • Platforms disappear when you scroll past them after a specific distance. You can still land on them if you haven’t strayed far.
  • Avoiding hazards
    • There are several hazards to watch out for in the game.
      • Spikes can put an end to your ascend if you hit them head on.
      • Weights won’t end the game, but they will slow your ascent.
      • Shrinking potions will make it difficult for you to stay airborne.
  • Store
    • Use the store to replenish your main power ups.
    • Each power up costs 100 coins.
• Target Audience
