Rusty Rivets Bits on the Fritz Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select Play on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys to steer.
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to select and place your robots.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your finger to move, select, and steer.
• Game Play
  • First driving game
    • Collect as many rivets as you can. You can see how many rivets you’ve collected on the top right corner.
    • Use the speed ramps to increase your speed.
    • Don’t crash into obstacles (potholes, traffic cones, trash, etc.)
      • Each time you crash into an obstacle, you lose rivets.
      • The further you go along, the more obstacles you encounter.
    • Pick up the spare parts. You can pick up 2 kinds:
      • Vital parts help build the street cleaner.
        • They have their own menu on the top right corner, just above the rivets.
        • Collect all 3 of them to finish the game.
      • Optional parts complete act as decorations:
        • You can pick up more than one of each type.
        • The game notes the optional parts in a separate, hidden tracker. You only see their tracker when you pick them up
  • Customizing game
    • Once Rusty places in the street sweepers parts, you can place in the parts you’ve collected onto the parts.
      • These will be at the menu on the left side of the screen.
      • Simply select and drag the parts from the menu to the highlighted parts of the street sweeper.
    • Select the arrow button on the bottom right corner to proceed with the next game.
  • Second driving game
    • Collect as many batteries as you can.
    • Every so often, you must collect the tiny robots (bits).
      • We recommend moving the street sweeper to the center. The bits get sucked in with ease.
  • Cleanup game
    • Choose the right bit for the right job.
      • Select a bit
      • Drag it to the job it seems appropriate for.
      • You move onto the next set of tasks when all the jobs onscreen are done.
    • The process repeats twice.
    • When you finish this minigame, you’re done.
