Scooby Doo Hallway Mayhem Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • The welcome screen has bone-shaped buttons on the lower left. The top button starts the game.
  • Newcomers can click on the How to Play button. This will lead to a brief slideshow explaining the mechanics of the game.
    • The arrow buttons on either side serve as navigation tools. Within the slideshow itself, it helps you jump between the tutorial pages.
    • At the beginning of the slideshow, clicking the left arrow button will return you to the welcome screen.
    • At the end of the slideshow, clicking on the right arrow button starts the game.
    • The game does not display your previous high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Using the mouse, click and drag the pie to launch it.
• Game Play
  • Pie the ghosts to stop them from capturing Scooby and the gang. Avoid hitting the crew with pies.
    • To throw a pie, click on it and drag it to the desired location before releasing.
      • After you release the pie, you must wait for a few seconds before another pie is available.
      • The pie moves faster or slower depending on how fast you move your mouse.
    • On the top corner is a meter, which shows how close the ghost is from capturing the Mystery, Inc. crew
      • The ghost icon represents the ghosts, while the Mystery Machine represents Scooby and friends.
      • As you play, the ghost icon gets closer to Mystery Machine one.
      • To push back the ghost icon, hit the ghost with a pie.
      • If you hit Scooby or any of his friends, the ghost icon gets closer.
      • If the two icons meet, it’s game over.
    • You clear a level when the ghost icon is brought to the far end of the meter.
  • Scoring:
    • Each time you hit a ghost, you gain one point.
    • You lose a point if you hit Scooby and crew.
      • You can’t score in the negative. Hit any of the gang when your score is zero and it stays at zero.
    • Hitting the ghosts consecutively with pies gives you a combo bonus.
      • Hitting two ghosts in a row doubles your score per hit.
      • Hitting four ghosts in a row triples your score per hit. This is the maximum bonus you can receive.
      • You lose the combo if you miss or hit any of the Mystery Inc. crew.
  • Difficulty:
    • The game starts off with one ghost and Shaggy and Scooby.
    • Two ghosts begin chasing the gang after the second level.
    • Over the next few levels, the rest of the gang join in. First is Velma, followed by Daphne, and finally Fred.
    • Everyone moves faster after you clear each level.
• Strategy
  • Reduce the risk of hitting the Scooby gang by firing when the ghosts are the only ones at the hallway.
  • Focus on hitting the ghosts that come to the front of the hallway unless none of the gang are in the way.
• Audience
  • This is a game for all ages and for fans of the new Scooby Doo series.
  • This game has no adult content.
