Two Squares Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on and off.

      • Use the left and right arrow keys to move.
        • The yellow character moves the same direction of your arrow.
        • The pink character moves the opposite direction of your arrow.
      • Use the up arrow key to jump.

      • Tap on the left and right arrow buttons to move.
      • Tap on the up arrow button to jump.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Hamburger button: Returns you to the level selection screen.

      • Left and right arrow buttons

• Game Play
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • Only the first levels is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • There are 24 levels in this game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked.
  • Basic rules
    • Move the 2 blobs together to clear the level.
      • Some levels have you move only one blob or the other, but most levels have you move both.
      • The yellow blob follows your left vs right commands, while the pink blob does the opposite.
      • The yellow blob is normally on the left with the pink normally on the right, though on some levels their placements can be reversed.
    • Remember that the 2 blobs move in the opposite direction and toward one another.
      • Selecting the right arrow key or button moves the left blob right and the right blob left (most of the time at least, unless the pink blob is on the left side and the yellow blob on the right side).
      • Moving right usually moves the two together. Moving left typically splits them apart.
    • Watch out for moving hazards.
      • Avoid the various level hazards like the yellow and red bars by jumping over them.
      • If any of them hit you, it’s game over.
    • You also get a game over if either blob moves away from one another offscreen.
  • Hearts
    • Hearts represent your level rating. You can have up to 3 hearts.
    • See if you can collect all the hearts in the level.

  • The game is suited for players who like tandem room escape games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
