Connect The Roads Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button under the game name on the game welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels, move count to beat each level, and level star ratings.
  • The welcome screen has a settings button below the play button & a full screen mode button in the upper left corner.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select one of the squares and drag it into an open position.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select one of the squares and drag it into an open position.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner has a home button.
    • The upper right corner has a pause button.
    • The lower left corner has a restart level button.
    • The lower right corner has a button to turn the level boundary border indicators on and off.
    • At the bottom center the game shows your level number and moves used on the current play of the current level.
    • When you beat a level it shows hows many moves it took you to beat the level on the current play and what your personal best move score was on that level.
    • The level select screen shows the star rating earned on each stage.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • In this game your goal is to create a path connecting the square with the car on it to the square with the finishing flags on it.
    • Squares with a green color on them can be moved one at a time toward open spots on the slide puzzle.
    • Squares with a burnt sienna color can not be moved.
  • Levels
    • This game has 24 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back to previously beat levels to try to earn a better score on them.
    • Levels are completed the moment you make a path from the car to the finishing square.
      • Technically there is no way to lose at this game, though the levels get more challenging as you progress through the game.
  • Scoring
    • Create a path which has the car collect all the stars on each stage to earn up to a 3-star rating on each level.
    • The game records your star rating for each level as well as how many square moves was your best record on that stage.

  • The game is suited for players who like path builder games.
