- Rounds
- The game has 3 rounds.
- The first 2 rounds (Beginner’s Luck and Double Trouble) involve selecting questions from the table.
- The final round has a different set of rules.
- Basic rules (first 2 rounds)
- Select a question from the table.
- Each question in a column falls under a category shown on the topmost row.
- Every question has a value.
- There are 5 categories and 5 questions per category, for a total of 25 questions in the first 2 rounds.
- Contestants
- You do not play against other players in this game, but try to score as many points as possible & have to answer questions before the timer runs out.
- Answering a question quickly does not change the point total versus answering it more slowly but still within the time limit.
- Answer the question correctly within 20 seconds and you receive the amount of money the question is worth.
- Choose from any of 4 possible answers.
- Answer wrong and you lose money based on the cash deducted from your winnings.
- You must answer every question & should at least guess, as running out of time counts as a wrong answer.
- Daily Doubles
- Unlike the original Jeopardy game which inspired this game there are no hidden Daily Double cells. Each question is valued as marked.
- Final round
- The final round only has one question.
- Before you can begin, you must adjust the slider that appears onscreen to bet an amount.
- This can be anywhere between $1 and the total value of your winnings.
- You are given the broad / general category of the question before you make your bet.
- The final round’s question plays like most questions on the first 2 rounds, but consists of exactly 1 question.
- If you answer the question correctly, you will win the amount you’ve bet.
- Otherwise, you will lose this amount and walk away with the remaining cash.
- Because of the stakes involved, it is very risky to bet all your money on the last round. We recommend betting no more than half your earnings to make sure you finish the game with something.
- Scoring
- You start the game with $2,000.
- The first round has 5 categories with 5 questions each, ranging from $200 to $1,000. A perfect score in the first round is worth $3,000 points per category or $15,000 total.
- The second round has 5 categories with 5 questions each, ranging from $400 to $2,000. A perfect score in the second round is worth $6,000 points per category or $30,000 total.
- You can conceivably go into the final round with $47,000, bet it all, and earn another $47,000. This would make the top achievable score $94,000.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like video games inspired by Jeopardy.
- The game has no adult themed content.
