- Game Play
- Stone matching
- Identical
- You can only match identical stones in this game.
- Free
- Only free / open stones can be matched.
- A stone is considered free if there are no stones on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is also free of adjacent stones.
- In this game free stones have a bright gold hue whereas stones that are not free have a darker grayed out hue.
- When you select a tile its border is highlighted.
- If the second tile you select matches the first both are removed from the stack.
- If the second tile you select doesn’t match then the first tile is deselected when you select the second.
- Autoshuffle
- When no valid open pairs remain the game automatically shuffles the remaining stones.
- This means that there is always at least one valid match remaining at all times.
- Automated shuffles do not cost you points.
- Levels
- This game has 60 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back to previously beat levels and replay them to try to earn a higher score.
- Your new score only replaces the old score if you earn a higher score.
- Timer
- The first level gives you 1:07 to beat it.
- The level time limit increases as you progress through the game.
- Each pair of clocks you match adds time to the remaining level timer.
- Early in a level matched clocks add 20 seconds to your remaining time.
- As you play the level and time passes each clock provides less time benefit, to where if you match clocks quite late into a level they might add 0 seconds.
- For the above reason it makes sense to match clocks as early as you can.
- You beat levels by clearing all the stones before the timer reaches zero.
- If you do not clear the stage then a Level Failed menu appears where you can either Try Again, or End Game.
- The game offers unlimited free continues while preserving your play data.
- If you select End Game you can submit your high score, but then you start back at the first level with all your play data erased.
- Stones
- The first stage has 54 stones or 27 stone pairs on it.
- Later levels have more stones.
- Scoring
- Your game score is cumulative across levels.
- Your level scores increase as you progress through the game as later levels have both more tile pairs to match and a longer time limit to beat them.
- Scoring points
- Stone matches (other than clock stones) are worth 20 points per pair. Clock stones are worth 0 points, but add time to your remaining level timer.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 3 points.
- Spending points
- Using a hint costs 100 points.
- Manual shuffles cost 250 points.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile match games or ancient Egyptian culture.
- The game has no adult themed content.
