How to Play
Select a card which is numerically adjacent to the card atop the waste pile. When no moves are available select another card from the reserves. Repeat the process until the tableau is clear of cards.
- Starting the Game
- Select the Play button on the right side of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level scores.
- Underneath the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
- The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
- The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for game settings, social media sharing & reading game developer information.
- Game Controls
- Desktop
- Use your mouse left click button to select a card from the tableau or reserves to play.
- Touchscreen devices
- Tap a card on the screen with a finger to play it.
- Controls & indicators
- The left side of the screen has reserves and the waste pile, with the reserves having a number count indicating how many cards are left in the reserves. The bottom has an undo move button.
- The right rail of the game shows your current level number, level score, and remaining level time. At the bottom there are four buttons for pausing the game, switching to full screen mode, controlling game sound, and controlling game music.
- Game Play
- Deal
- This game uses a standard deck of 52 cards plus two Eiffel Tower cards that act as wildcards.
- Rather than using the standard Tripeaks Solitaire board layout, each level has a unique layout.
- Playing
- Move cards which are one higher or one lower than the card atop the waste pile onto the waste pile.
- The deck wraps. A King can appear before or after an Ace or a Queen.
- When no more moves can be made draw another card from the reserves.
- Cards which do not have a number on them & instead show the Eiffel Tower are wildcards or Jokers. You can lay any card atop them.
- Levels
- This game has 40 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a better score on them.
- Your new score only replaces the old score if you earn a higher score.
- Level timer
- Each stage gives you 1:59 to clear the tableau.
- If you run out of cards or fail to beat a level on time it will bring up a level failed screen.
- Select Try Again to play again. You get unlimited continues.
- Selecting End Game will allow you to submit your game score, but will erase your game progress.
- Tableau cards
- The first stage has 7 cards on the tableau, 1 card on the waste pile, and 46 cards in reserves.
- As you advance through the game more cards are on the tableau & fewer in the reserves.
- Strategy
- Try to remove cards with the most cards underneath them so that you open up the other cards for quick play.
- If you have multiple of the same card showing and can make a play in either direction it is usually best to go with clearing out one of the cards you have duplicates of so that you have more diversity on the tableau and are not in dire need of many cards in a small range late in the game.
- Scoring
- Your game score is cumulative across levels.
- You tend to score fewer points in later levels as more of the cards are on the tableau and the level layouts grow more complex, requiring more time to complete them.
- Each card you discard from the tableau is worth 50 points.
- Some Tripeaks Solitaire games have a chain bonus, but on this game each card has the same value.
- Each move you undo costs you 100 points (or technically 50 for cards on the tableau since you regain 50 back when you play the card again).
- Each card you have remaining in the reserves when you beat a level is worth 20 points.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 10 points.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Tripeaks Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
