Recoil Shooter Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select How to Play on the bottom left corner of the screen to open the game’s tutorial window.
• Game Controls

    • With your mouse, left click to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to shoot.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen.
    • Reset button: Restarts the level from the beginning. This is useful if you’re ever stuck.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • You automatically start on the first level.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • Replaying levels
      • Each time you reload the game, you start from the first level.
      • After beating the first level you play whatever level you were on prior to restarting the game.
      • You can’t easily go back and replay all beat levels without clearing your web browser cache or playing the game in another web browser.
  • Basic rules
    • Shoot all the enemies in the level.
      • When all enemies have been hit the level is beat.
    • Each shot you make makes you ricochet across the room.
      • Move by shooting your gun and ricocheting to the opposite end.
      • Take the ricochet into account when shooting at enemies.
      • In some cases when you have lost most of your momentum, you’ll need to shoot to push yourself the wrong direction to build up momentum in order to later be able to go the direction you wish to travel.
    • Use the level features to your advantage.
      • You can destroy obstructive boxes by shooting at them.
      • Bouncing platforms can help you reach places if you jump on them from the correct angle. Otherwise, they also serve as obstacles.
      • On the last couple levels wind can be used to help blow you across the stage or up to a higher platform.
    • If you get stuck or miss an opponent before making a big fall use the level reset button in the upper right corner to start again.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple physics shooting games.
    • Players shoot a gun for propulsion and to hit pixelated pigs that splat when hit.
  • Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
