      • You can only move across or down. You can’t move up.
    • Mobile

  • Game Play
    • The game begins with a tutorial explaining the basic concepts of the game.
      • The tutorial only plays once.

      • You can only move forward or to the sides.
      • If you don’t, the game scrolls past you and it’s game over.
    • Collect carrots.
    • Burrows and tunnels
      • Unlike other cross the road games, this game features pits and tunnel.
      • They consist of one short underground path. You enter the tunnel through one pit and exit through another.
      • Tunnels serve as a bonus round where you can collect more carrots unimpeded.
      • Tunnels can let you skip past hazards like Taz.
    • Hazards
      • The game features several types of hazards.
      • Step on a hazard, and it’s game over.
      • There are two types:
        • Stationary hazards (gopher holes, rivers), which stay in place.
        • Mobile hazards (Taz, trains), which move in a set direction.
      • To avoid stationary hazards, simply move around them.
        • Gopher holes tend to form spontaneously. Watch out for them.
        • Gopher holes forming at inopportune areas can trap you.
      • To avoid mobile hazards, wait until they’re out of the way to move.
      • Stones on a river may also count as a hazard.
        • You can only step on them for a little while before they submerge.
    • Scoring
      • You gain 1 point for every time you move forward.
      • The game also records how many carrots you’ve collected separate from your high score.
      • Collecting carrots allows you to unlock various reskins of Bugs based on how he looked through the ages. When you die your carrots are retained on through the next game.
        • Looney Tunes Cartoons (2020): Unlocked by default
        • The Looney Tunes Show (2011): Unlocked at 100 carrots.
        • Looney Tunes (1948): Unlocked at 200 carrots
          • i.e. the version of Bugs Bunny most people are familiar with.
        • Later Merrie Melodies (1942): Unlocked at 300 carrots
          • The design first appeared in the 1940 short A Wild Hare, the cartoon where Bugs was officially named.
        • Hare-Um Scare-Um/Elmer’s Candid Camera (1940): Unlocked at 400 carrots.
          • This features Bugs’ earlier design, called “Happy Rabbit” by film historians. Hare-Um Scare-Um was first released in 1939.
    • Dying
      • This game features a one-hit death. You die if you run into any obstacles.
      • The screen automatically moves downward, which means you have to keep moving or at least pace your self to where you don’t get trapped. If you get trapped by the moving screen to where you can’t move it is game over.
      • You also lose if you fall into the river or are carried out of the screen by a log floating on the river.
  • Target Audience
    • This game is suited for all audiences. Adults and film history enthusiasts might recognize Bugs Bunny’s classic reskins.
    • This game has no adult content.

What’s This About Retro Throwbacks?

The prototype of Bugs Bunny first appeared in 1938. It wasn’t until Elmer’s Candid Camera (1940) that his design was finalized. His name wouldn’t be mentioned on the titles until Elmer’s Pet Rabbit in 1941.
