Leave Me Alone Ninja Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • On the bottom center are the following buttons, from left to right:
    • The help button opens the game’s tutorial.
    • The character button lets you select a new character to play as.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best scores.

    • With your keyboard, hit the arrow buttons to punch the monsters.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers, tap and swipe in the direction to punch the monsters.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Punch the monsters before they reach you.
      • You can punch monsters that are at least 1 tile away from you.
      • Don’t let the monsters get to your tile.
    • The monsters move in a rhythmic pattern.
      • You must pick which side to punch as quickly as you can.
      • Ideally, you must punch the monsters that are the closes to you.
        • If you miss a punch early in the game by being too early you will likely be able to punch again.
        • As you progress if you punch too early you won’t have enough time to correct an early punch by punching again.
        • You can only reach enemies that are within an adjacent square or as they begin to step on it.
      • As the game progresses, you must make sure you punch the monsters in the correct order to keep them from reaching you.
    • If the monster reaches your tile and punches you, it’s game over.
      • Punch out as many monsters as you can before that.
  • Scoring
    • You gain a point for every monster you punch.
    • Reach a specific score threshold in a single game to unlock more fighters.
    • You can unlock the following fighters:
      • Mr. Lee (100 points)
      • Knight (200 points)
      • Samurai (300 points)
      • Ironbot (400 points)
    • When a fighter is unlocked once they remain unlocked.
      • Each fighter has a unique background environment, though enemies approach the same way, with enemies a bit quicker on stronger fighters.
      • You can switch back and forth between unlocked fighters at the start of each game.
    • Fighters play roughly the same, though you unlock the attack bonus quicker on stronger fighters.
      • The ninja activates the special attack the first time at around 70 enemies destroyed.
      • Mr. Lee activates the special attack the first time at around 50 enemies destroyed.
      • Knight activates the special attack the first time at around 40 enemies destroyed.
      • Since the game starts slower on ninja & the special attacks take longer to happen it is easier (though slower) to earn a high score using the ninja, since you are around 100 to 120 points in before the enemies really start to accelerate significantly.
  • Special attacks
    • A power meter at the top center of the screen shows how charged up your special attack is. Each time you hit an enemy it charges further.
    • When your special attack is activated you destroy enemies in all 4 directions with an energy blast.
    • After each time you activate a special attack your enemies approach you at a faster rate.
    • The game keeps speeding up on each subsequent attack, which makes it faster to reach the next special attack, but also makes it easier to get hit.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple reaction time fighter games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
