Features, obstacles and hazards
Floor switches
Floor switches are often the only way to remove various obstacles like pillars and temple guards.
You can activate floor switches by stepping on them or by pushing a block on top of them.
Some switches activate once, while others revert when they’re not pushed down.
Usually, a permanent switch will be one that activates the trap door for the temple guard.
If there are large blocks you need to push in the level with switches, it’s a sign that some of them need a block to hold them down
Key switches
Unlike floor switches, key switches remain active when you turn them on.
To unlock a key switch, you must first collect a key.
Blocks
You will automatically push blocks if they stand in your way by moving in front of them.
Blocks are useful in keeping switches pressed.
By the time you get into the temple (Level 7), you can push the blocks toward ledges to get rid of them.
Be careful to keep the amount of blocks you need to press down on any of the floor switches.
Temple Guards and Snakes
Avoid them both.
Temple Guards
Temple guards will automatically chase you if you appear in front of them.
To avoid them, pass them from behind.
Selecting a switch which drops them is one way to stop a temple guard.
Snakes
Snakes will strike you if you’re one tile away from them, but can’t reach you if you’re two tiles away.
Like with the temple guards, they cannot attack you if you stand behind them.
Snakes only attack what is directly in front of them. They do not attack you if you are one tile away but are in a different direction than the direction they are facing.
Cracked tiles
Tiles with a lot of cracks will collapse if you step on them.
Tiles with a few cracks can be stepped on exactly one.
They gain more cracks when stepped on and become a hazard after.
As a result, partially cracked tiles are a tactical hazard as they are only available once.
You would need to avoid doubling back if you ever need to pass through these tiles.
Some tiles will fall apart shortly after you step on them!
Quicksand
You cannot stay in a quicksand square for very long.
Because of its sticky nature, you need to press twice to get out before sinking.
The key to large areas of quicksand is to keep moving.
Collectibles
Shirts from the teams in the game
Red Jaguars
Orange Iguanas
Blue Barracudas
Purple Parrots
Green Monkeys
Silver Snakes
The pieces of the original gameshow’s infamous silver monkey
Two halves of the Pendant of Life.
Tips and Tricks
Be careful when you move.
One wrong step can send you falling or moving the block to a suboptimal position.
Sometimes, you must solve specific puzzles in the right order to get to the end of a level. Missteps can complicate that.
The way the instructions are written indicates that the game expects you to learn by trial and error.
If you feel like you’re stuck, reset and start over.
Most levels are not timed, but the final level is.
If you complete all the in-game achievements and beat the game you will unlock the bonus level.
On the bonus level you have to walk exclusively on squares with snakes on them.
In-Game Achievements

Collect part of the Silver Monkey statue
