- Game Play
- Basics
- You are given a limited number of moves.
- The goal of this game is to paint all the gray floor tiles blue using the number of moves shown or fewer.
- Levels are pass or fail & are ungraded beyond that.
- Floor tile types
- Gray cells – you can walk on any gray cells.
- They turn blue after they are walked on once.
- You can repeatedly walk on cells even after they turn blue, provided they do not have spikes on them.
- Holes – holes represent the edge or boundary of the board.
- If you walk toward a hole from multiple tiles away it will act like a wall and you’ll stop in the cell prior.
- If you walk toward a hole from a neighboring cell you will fall through the floor.
- Knights – you stop on the cell where the knight was when you run into them.
- At that point they are destroyed, and you can move again in any direction.
- Spikes – some tiles have 4 small holes in them. You must still walk over these tiles, however you can only walk on them once, as spikes come out after the first pass.
- If you try to walk on spikes from an adjacent cell you will die.
- If you try to walk toward spikes from multiple cells away then you will stop on the cell before the spikes without touching the spikes.
- Warps – some tiles have colored warps on them.
- You go out the same color that you went in and stop on the other warp tile until you give a movement command.
- You can go through the same warp multiple times & can go through either direction.
- Levels
- This game has 20 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
- Winning vs losing
- You lose if you fall off the level, walk over spikes, or run out of moves.
- You win by turning all the gray stones blue within your move limit.
- Strategy
- Pay special attention to tiles in the middle & tiles which can only be accessed from a single direction, as it is easy to leave dangling nodes.
- Quite often knights are near cells which can only be accessed after you defeated the knight & were standing on the square the knight was on.
- While spikes are dangerous, sometimes you need to go over them to get them to come out of the floor so that you can later try to cross over them and they act as a wall allowing you to reach hard to access tiles in the center of the board.
- Don’t be afraid to go over your path. You often need to repeat some portions of the level to turn all stones blue.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like simple path design logic puzzle games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
