How to Play
As a lone space fighter, take out as many enemy craft as you can. How many days can you last?
- Starting the Game
- On the welcome screen:
- Select Battle to begin.
- To learn the ropes of the game, select help.
- Your web browser automatically saves your survival record.
- Game Controls
- Desktop
- Left click and drag to move the ship.
- Touchscreen devices
- Tap the screen with your fingers to move the ship.
- Game Play
- Basic
- Left click or tap and drag to move the ship.
- The ship moves toward the direction you drag.
- Think of the way the ship moves as dragging a toy with a string.
- You can also left click or tap anywhere and release. The ship will slowly move toward that point in a straight line.
- We recommend dragging your ship as it gives you more control, which is vital when evading enemies.
- Your ship automatically fires at enemies when they get close.
- The ships attack you from the rear.
- To attack your enemies, go behind them then evade.
- Power ups
- The game spawns 3 different power ups at random.
- To activate these power ups, run over them. Be careful of incoming ships.
- Each of these power ups provide a bonus attack that can help you take down the enemy armada.
- One creates a spiral laser attack.
- One creates a ring-shaped explosion close to your ship.
- One creates several ring-shaped explosions of ammo across the screen.
- Lives and survival
- Avoid hitting enemies or their fire.
- Each time you get hit, you lose a life.
- When you lose all your lives, it’s game over.
- You start a game with 7 spare lives.
- You can view these lives on the upper left corner of the screen.
- Survival is measured in Sols, the astronomic equivalent of an Earth day.
- Your performance in this game is measured in how many sols you survive.
- Tips
- Sitting duck
- Stay still at the start of each level. The ships are inevitably drawn to you.
- Start moving the moment they’re within attacking range.
- The other ships aren’t really good at evasive maneuvers, so using yourself as bait and dodging their attacks are a good way to attack them.
- Evasive maneuvers
- Keep pulling your ship. This allows you to evade more effectively.
- Be aware of the ships around you. They will fire at you.
- They don’t evade back, so focus on throwing shots as you evade them rather than trying to actively hit them.
- Some ships shoot at you while others do not. When another ship shoots at you do not evade them in a direct line. Instead you can keep turning around them by moving in a series of straight lines at different angles which combine to approximate a circle.
- Target Audience
- People who like flying bullet hell avoidance games should like this game.
- There are no adult themes in this game.
