Monkeys and Fruits Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button at the top right corner to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.

• Game Play
  • Basic Rules
    • Bring the banana to the monkey.
      • Bananas stay still without anything to move them.
      • Usually, they start moving when you remove a block or wood below them, subjecting them to gravity.
      • They can also be pushed by a rolling log.
    • Remove dirt blocks to bring down the banana.
      • Sometimes, blocks must be removed in the correct order to bring the banana to where it needs to go.
      • Starting from Level 9, some blocks may move.
    • Use various items in the level to bring the banana to where it needs to go.
      • Get the log to move to push the banana if gravity cannot pull it.
      • Some levels have portals.
        • Portals appear from Level 7 onwards.
        • Drop the banana through the correct portal to get them on the right path.
        • Portals in some levels move. Drop them at the right time to make sure they get in.
    • The level is cleared when the monkey receives the banana.
      • If the monkey fails to get the banana, you fail the level.
      • As you advance through the game some stages also add coconuts and pineapples.
        • Each monkey has a picture on its box showing the type of fruit it needs to collect.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • You start with only the first level unlocked.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • There are 36 levels in this game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win if the correct fruit gets collected by each associated monkey.
      • You lose if any fruit gets collected by the wrong monkey, or if you lose a piece of fruit off platform.
      • This game offers unlimited continues.
  • Tips
    • Block breaking order
      • On some levels you need the banana to go one path and then back in another direction, meaning certain blocks need broke after the banana passes in one direction but before it comes back.
      • On most stages you only need the banana to go in one direction & in many of those you can break most of the later blocks early so that when you set the banana in motion you do not need to make many other moves.
    • Level complexity
      • Many levels are quite simple if you work backward from the goal.
      • Quite often levels that look complex have a lot of extra elements that you do not need to worry about.
      • You can lower level complexity by clearing out some of the platforms in advance to simplify things.
    • Two directions
      • On some stages you need to make the fruit go the wrong direction first before making it go the right direction.
      • An example of the above is level 32, where you must make both fruits move inward by breaking the outer planks, and then break the inner plank so that you make the fruits move back outward.
    • Portals
      • While any fruit can go through any portal, it will come out of the other portal of the same color.
      • Be sure to match the fruits working backward from the destination monkey rather than matching the fruit to the portal of the same color as the fruit.
    • Fruits & monkeys
      • On stages with multiple monkeys you need to have each monkey collect the correct fruit type.
    • Moving platforms with stationary fruit
      • If the monkeys or platforms move you will need to watch the patterns to get the timing right.
      • On some stages it is easy to get one fruit into the correct monkey box right at the start of the level, so that you have fewer valid moves you need to make to beat the rest of the level.
      • Be sure to watch the patterns multiple times to get the full range of motion & give the falling object a bit of lead time to be in the right position with the monkey below.
