Peg Solitaire (also known as Sailor’s Solitaire) is a single-player board game where players try to remove all pegs except one from the plus-sign shaped playing field.
Pegs can jump vertically or horizontally, but not diagonally.
Pegs must jump over another peg in an adjacent hole and land in the subsequent hole. The peg which is jumped over is removed from the board.
This game starts with an empty hole in the center and the other 32 holes have pegs in them. If you beat the game all pegs but 1 will be removed from the board & that peg rests in the center hole.

Beating Sailor’s Solitaire Strategy Guide
Strategy for each side (starting with the right side)
Move the peg in the center of the right arm to the middle of the playing board.
Next jump the peg one in from the top in toward the center of the board in the empty space which was made from the peg you just jumped.
Move the top outer peg from the right side in toward the center of the board.
Move the bottom outer peg from the right side up.
Jump the peg one up from the middle out to the right side.
Jump the peg from the top row of the right side toward the middle.
At this point the rightmost row should be empty, and the row one in from it should only have 1 peg left in the bottom position.
Repeat the above process for each of the 3 remaining sides.
Start with the top, then the left, then the bottom.
If you are using a mobile device you can rotate it 90 degrees to keep the instructions the exact same.
The instructions below are for the next subsequent side presuming you are unable to turn your device.
Top
Jump the peg from the one in from the top row on the left side in toward the center of the board.
Jump the leftmost top peg in the top downward.
Jump the top right peg leftward.
Jump a peg from near the center adjacent to the top peg on the left side.
Now jump that top left peg down.
At this point you should have a second side with the outermost row clear and only 1 peg left on the row inside that row.
Left side
Move the leftmost peg in the bottom upward in toward the center of the board.
Jump the bottom peg on the left side inward.
Now jump the top left peg downward.
Jump a page from the center out toward the stranded peg located in the bottom row of the left side.
Now jump the outer bottom left peg back in toward the middle.
Bottom side
Move the single rightmost peg from the cleared right leg inward toward the bottom.
Move the bottom right peg upward.
Move the bottom left peg across.
Take the peg one right of dead center downward one.
Move the bottom right peg in toward the center.
Center portion
Jump the peg one left from dead center up, then right, down, down, left, and back up.
You will now have a T remaining turned on its side, looking like this –|.
Now there are only 5 remaining pegs and 4 moves left.
Take the center peg up.
Next, left peg in toward the center.
Bottom peg up.
Top peg down to the center square.
Done. 🙂
