- Game Play
- Deal
- This game uses 1.5 standard decks of playing cards.
- You are dealt two sets each from the Ace to King of Hearts, Diamonds, and Spades.
- The Clubs suit is not dealt.
- All cards are dealt face up to 11 tableau columns.
- 10 columns have 7 cards each while the centermost column has 8 cards.
- Levels
- This is a timed game with a single level.
- You have a time limit of 25 minutes to move all the cards on the tableau to the foundations.
- Playing
- Tableau
- On the tableau build down while alternating suit colors.
- Only Kings or sequentially descending runs of cards starting with a King can be placed on an empty spot on the tableau.
- You can move multiple cards at a time on the tableau provided you have multiple open free cells.
- Free cells
- You are given 4 free cells, each of which can hold a card.
- Any card can be played in a free cell.
- When the card in a free cell is played elsewhere the free cell can be used again.
- Having open spots on your free cells allows you to move longer runs of cards on the tableau without requiring you to move them one card at a time.
- Foundations
- Foundations are suited in ascending order starting with the Aces.
- Cards which are not needed to make other runs are automatically laid to the foundations.
- You can also manually move cards over to the foundations.
- When a card is laid onto a foundation you can’t then pull it off to play it elsewhere.
- Scoring
- Each card you lay to a foundation is worth 10 points, for a maximum card-based score of 780 points.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat the game is worth an additional point.
- Tips
- Try to get the Aces to the foundations early so that you can play other cards to the foundations.
- Try to keep the free cells open throughout most of the game so you can use them when you really need them.
- There is an imbalance between suit colors with there being twice as many red cards as black cards. This means you should avoid building tall stacks on the tableau unless those stacks start with the Kings and work their way down.
- As only Kings can be laid to empty columns on the tableau there is no need to move other shorter stacks to create open spaces on the tableau unless you have a King to play there.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Freecell Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
