Fireman Jet Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Give a movement command to your fireman to start the game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including high score, coin savings, and skin unlocks.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Tap the down arrow key to ascend.
    • Tap the left arrow key to turn left or counterclockwise.
    • Tap the right arrow key to turn right or clockwise.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere on the screen to ascend.
    • Tap the left side to ascend while turning left.
    • Tap the right side of the screen to ascend while turning right.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The top of the screen shows how many floors you have climbed and what your cumulative coin savings are.
    • At the end of the game the bottom center of the screen shows your current game score and your prior record score.
• Game Play
  • Movement
    • Your hose contains your movement in general, though you must stay within the width of the building.
    • If you hit either side of the building you bounce off with force back in the other direction.
      • When you bounce off the sides the speed and force you bounce off with depends on how hard you crashed into the side.
      • Your angle also changes when you bounce off the sides of the building.
  • Levels
    • This game consists of a single level where there are an infinite number of floors you can climb.
    • Each floor has 4 windows on it which may contain a mix of empty windows, children to rescue, pets to rescue, and fires.
    • Put out the fires by having the outlet of your jet spray on them, or by having the water ricochet off something and then strike the flames.
  • Health & dying
    • When you pass directly over the fire you absorb some of the fire.
      • Your body acts as meter which shows how “on fire” you are.
      • When you move slowly over a fire you burn heavily & when you move quickly over a fire you do not absorb as much heat.
      • After you put out the fire or move past it your body heat dissipates and your health quickly restores.
    • When you get about 27 levels up the building things start to fall from the roof.
      • A red marker indicates where the item will fall.
      • A single item falls where the red marker is shown.
      • If you get hit by any of these falling items you die.
      • Once you get around level 40 the falling items are triggered more frequently, with one falling every few seconds.
    • If you fall off screen low it is game over.
      • The screen does not move upward automatically like a timer, but instead the height is based on how high you have flown.
      • If you move downward the screen does not descend with you, making it easy to fall off screen if you are not in control.
  • Clouds
    • If you run into a cloud you activate the rain.
    • As you ascend the rain automatically puts out some of the fires, allowing you to focus on saving trapped boys, girls, dogs, and cats while skipping past the fires that the rain puts out.
    • The cloud rains for a set period of time & then the rain shuts off.
  • Scoring
    • Each person you save and each fire you put out is worth a point.
    • If you clear all aspects of a particular floor you earn an extra 3 bonus points.
    • When your game ends you score a half coin for each floor you passed through.
  • Character skins
    • Select the character skin on the fireman whenever you start the game or start a new level to bring up the character skins page.
    • You start the game with a default red skin.
      • Your second skin unlock is free.
      • After that subsequent skin unlocks cost 500 coins each.
    • The game has 16 different characters including firemen, an astronaut, a stormtrooper, a panda, and a lion.
      • All characters play the same other than having a different aesthetic look.
