• Starting the Game
  • The game begins with a cutscene explaining the game’s backstory.

• Game Play
  • Basic moves
    • Shoot down all the ghosts to survive the wave.
      • You only have a limited number of ammunition to shoot the ghosts before you reload.
      • Keep running and jumping away from the ghosts. Always keep some distance between yourself and them. This is especially important while you’re reloading.
    • Once you’ve killed all the ghosts of the level, pick out one of 3 upgrades.
    • Keep surviving for as long as you can.
  • Waves
    • Waves act as the game’s levels. They consist of a number of ghosts that appear at the same time.
    • You must slay all the ghosts to clear the wave.
    • After each wave, you receive 1 of 3 possible upgrades. Pick one to move to the next wave.
  • Bosses
    • Bosses appear after 4 waves.
    • A single boss comes with a group of ghosts. Defeat all the ghosts, then defeat the boss.
    • The boss will attack you from a distance, so it’s important to keep in motion to dodge their range attacks.
    • Bosses have more hit points and take more shots to defeat.
  • Hit points
    • You start the game with 3 hit points. Besides the end of level upgrades, these are the only hit points you will ever have throughout the game.
    • Each time a ghost catches you or you get hit by a boss’s range shot, you lose a hit point.
    • The game ends when you run out of hit points.
    • You can replenish hit points by choosing it as an option during upgrades at the end of levels.
  • Upgrades
    • You can only choose one upgrade at a time.
    • Most upgrades provide some sort of improvement on the way you fight:
      • Some increase your base stats (reloading speed, firing speed, movement speed, attack damage, hit points, etc).
      • Other upgrades add to your arsenal (pierce damage, shot size).
      • Upgrades are the only way you can receive extra hit points.
    • Some upgrades come with trade offs.
      • You might, for instance, receive extra damage but lose a hit point.
      • There may be some waves were all your choices come with a trade off. Choose with care.
