Idle Farming Business Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Press the start button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The welcome screen has a full screen mode button in the upper left corner and a settings button in the upper right corner.
    • The full screen mode only appears if you play the game as an isolated web app rather than embedded in this page.
    • The setttings button allows you to control game sound and music.

  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to harvest crops, and to operate the menus to activate other game features like the upgrade shop, extra sunshine, and rainy days.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The lower left corner of the game has buttons for the upgrade shop and for upgrading each crop.
      • When the crop upgrade feature is selected buttons in the lower right corner allow you to adjust so you are upgrading 1 level at a time, 10 levels at a time, upgrading until next bonus, or max upgrade.
    • The upper left corner of the game has indicators showing your cash savings, income earning rate, and how many times you sold off a farm and started again.
    • Each crop shows a status bar above it for how close it is to the next harvest & a numerical amount shown on it indicating how much money you have to collect from that crop.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a simple idle clicker game where you plant crops, harvest them, and then use the income from harvest to upgrade your land plots or unlock more crop types.
    • For each crop type you need to purchase the “stack the harvest” upgrade or manually collect the harvest for more crops to be planted. If you do not have the stacking upgrade enabled you have to manually collect the harvest so that more crops can be planted.
  • Crops
    • Unlocking new crops
      • You start the game with potatoes.
      • It costs $60 to unlock carrots.
      • It costs $720 to unlock wheat.
      • It costs $8,640 to unlock tomatoes.
      • It costs $105,000 to unlock cucumbers.
      • It costs $1,250,000 to unlock peppers.
      • It costs $15,000,000 to unlock turnips.
      • It costs $178,000,000 to unlock onions.
      • It costs $2,150,000,000 to unlock corn.
    • Planting better crops
      • Each crop you plant starts off at level 1.
      • You can upgrade to higher levels & each upgrade costs more than the prior upgrade.
        • As you upgrade a crop you both harvest it quicker and earn more per harvest.
        • At upgrade levels 25, 50, 100, 200, 300 & so on (for each subsequent 100) the production time is cut in half.
      • Due to how the production time cuts in half when reaching certain landmarks it is best to try to upgrade crops at least to those levels and then keep upgrading above them.
      • If a crop does not have “stack the harvest” enabled it is best to work on upgrading lower level crops until you have enough saved up to be able to stack the harvest on the more expensive crop.
  • Upgrade Shop
    • Each plant has a series of upgrades which increase in price geometrically.
    • The first upgrade for each plant type is stack the harvest, then the subsequent upgrades triple your profits from that crop.
  • Sun
    • The sun appears periodically.
    • Activating extra sunshine allows you to double profits from all crops for 20 seconds.
  • Rain Clouds
    • Activate the rain clouds for 1 hour at a time to double your harvest while it rains.
    • You can activate up to 5 times sequentially then there is a time out before the feature reacharges.
  • Daily Rewards
    • Each day you can activate a daily reward.
    • Activating the daily reward early in play can allow you to quickly unlock 6 or 7 different crops in the first hour of play.
  • Harvest all plots
    • Once you reach above $50 billion in cash you are given the option to harvest all your plots, start the game again, and earn a couple percent faster on subsequent plays.
    • The increased earnings from cashing out your farm depend on how leveled up your farm was before cashing out.
