- A move counts as valid when it creates a row that can be cleared.
- These rows can be horizontal or vertical.
- You can form rows of up to 5 jewels at any given time.
- Clear as many rows of jewels as you can to meet the level’s goal.
- You win when you run out of time and moves and meet your level’s quota.

- Blocks
- Clear all the blocks in the level within a limited number of moves or within 60 seconds.
- To clear a block, form a valid row with at least jewel within a block.
- Some blocks take more moves to remove than others.
- Floating jewels
- Stop the floating jewels before they reach the top of the screen.
- Make sure to meet the level’s other goals.
- Jewel drop
- Make sure the gray dropping jewels reach the bottom of the screen,
- Meet the quota of gray jewels while reaching the target scores of the level.
- The gray jewels cannot be removed even if they form a row of 3 or more.
- If you activate a bomb, the gray jewels will be destroyed. This does not count against your quota.
- Bombs
- General rules
- You receive bombs each time you create a row greater than 3. Each bomb occupies the space filled by the jewel you moved to earn the bomb.
- They form either on your move or in the wake of the others that form after your move.
- Most bombs act like the jewels of their color and are only activated when you form a valid row with them.
- The game adds unused bombs to your final score at the end of the level.
- Bomb types
- Star bombs
- These are star-shaped. You receive them after clearing a straight (horizontal or vertical) row of 4 jewels.
- These clear both a row and a column of bombs, forming a plus-sign shape across the board.
- If another bomb is within its radius, it too explodes.
- Trefoil bombs
- These take on the appearance of 3 spheres stacked on top of one another. You receive them for removing 2 overlapping rows of 5 jewels that form an L or T shape.
- They take out a 3 x 3 square of jewels around them. Placed in the right spot, they can take out a total of 11 jewels, including the row they formed.
- They also detonate any other bombs within their radius.
- Rainbow orb
- You receive rainbow orbs after clearing a straight row of 5 jewels.
- The rainbow orb can switch places with any one jewel on the screen.
- When activated, the orb will remove all the jewels of that color in the screen.
- If it switches places with a bomb, it will clear a larger area of the screen.
- Scoring and tips
- Each level has a minimum score threshold to reach.
- To clear the level, meet this minimum score along with the other prerequisites. If you don’t meet the other prerequisites, you will still lose the level even if you managed to earn a higher score.
- The threshold goes higher two times, indicating the points you need to earn a 2-star and later 3-star rating.
- Once you’ve met the minimum requirements to clear the level, you can still keep playing until you run out of time or turns.
- Although the game stores your star rating, it does not record your highest possible score.
- The best way to bolster your score is to cause multiple rows to form in one move.
- Look for moves that let you form two or more rows at once.
- Activate bombs whenever you can. The spaces they create can reshuffle the board enough to create new rows in rapid succession.
- When activating the rainbow orb, choose the jewel next to it that is the most common on the board. If you can have it switch places with a bomb, all the better.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for connect 3 in a row fans of all ages.
- The game has no adult themed content.
