Jewel Match Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select either of the following buttons to begin:
    • Play
    • Time Rush
  • Use the following audio controls to customize the game’s sound:
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sound effects on and off.
    • Select the music button to do the same to the game’s music.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high scores.

    • With your mouse, left click to select a jewel.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on a jewel with your fingers to select it.
• Game Play
  • Basic
    • Create rows of 3 or more of the same jewel to remove it from the field.
      • To make a row, select one jewel, then select one adjacent to it.
      • The adjacent jewel can be above, below, or on either side of the jewel you selected.
      • The jewel will only move if its new location forms a valid line.
    • Meet the game mode’s goals to win.
  • Levels
    • This is the standard mode you play when you select Play on the welcome screen.
    • Select a level:
      • Levels are unlocked sequentially. Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • Only the first level is playable when you first load the game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked from the level selection screen.
    • In each level, you only have 30 number of moves to meet the level goals.
      • Each level has a quota of jewels of specific colors you need to clear. Keep track of them on the top left corner of the screen.
      • Collect the required number of jewels within the number of moves to win.
      • If you run out of turns without meeting the quotas, you fail the level.
    • You earn a star rating depend on how many moves it takes to clear the level.
      • Finish within 15 moves will grant you 3 stars.
      • Finish within 20 moves and receive 2 stars.
      • Any lower and you only get a star for finishing the level.
      • Track your remaining turns on the top right corner.
  • Time Attack
    • In this version of the game, you must keep removing jewels until you run out of time.
    • Earn points by clearing jewels.
      • You earn multiplier bonuses for removing 4 or more jewels in one move.
      • You also get score bonuses for clearing multiple lines in a single move.
      • Your current score is shown on the top left corner, while your highest score is shown on the top right corner.
    • Clearing lines of jewels gives you extra time. The more jewels you clear, the longer you can play.
