- Tile designs
- Both of the two Chinese tile designs are rather distinctive and easy to differentiate between pieces.
- The coat of arms tile design and the medieval weaponry designs look far more similar from tile to tile, making them harder to play than the Chinese tiles.
- Open stones
- A stone (or tile) is considered open if there is no tile directly on top of it & at least one of its left or right sides is open.
- Only open tiles can be matched.
- Tiles which are open have a brighter background color & tiles which are not open have more of a grayish background color.
- Open stones show a red border when selected.
- If you do not pick any tiles for an extended period of time a matching pair will shake or vibrate.
- When no matches remain the tiles are automatically shuffled.
- The automated shuffling does not cost you a shuffle.
- Conversely, this means that if the tiles have not shuffled you know there is at least 1 open match remaining.
- If you chose the wrong tile then selecting any other non-matching tile will deselect the prior tile.
- Some tiles from taller stacks can obscure part of tiles on shorter stacks. If you can’t find a match it might be because part of the tile is obfuscated.
- Generally it is best to go for the widest rows and tallest columns first to open up the playing field, but the unlimited free shuffles makes that less important in this game.
- Levels
- There are 300 different board layouts you can choose to play, but when you play through a game you play through 20 levels.
- Each level has a custom time limit.
- Early levels have a 4 minute limit & you get more time as you progress deeper into the game onto more complex level designs.
- You beat a level by removing all tiles from the playing field.
- If there are multiple tiles remaining in a stack & no other tiles remain on the level then the level is also complete as shuffling can not display an open pair if the only remaining tiles are on top of each other.
- If you fail to beat a level before the timer runs out you can choose to end your game or try again.
- When you replay a level your tile designs will remain the same, but the board layout will change.
- Scoring
- Your game score is cumulative across levels.
- Each tile match you make is worth 100 points.
- Your remaining time when a level is complete is worth 10 points per second.
- Requesting a hint costs you 300 points.
- Shuffling the tiles costs you 500 points.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile matching games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
