Nature Cat Nature Art Box Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the lower left corner of the welcome screen to begin.
  • Nature Cat and his friends will discuss the premise of the game in a cutscene.
    • The game has voiceover narration, which will double as a tutorial.
    • Select the button on the lower right corner to skip the cutscene.
  • Select the tab on the lower center corner of the box to start the game.
  • Your local browser will automatically record the images you saved in-game.

    • Using your mouse, left click to choose art tools.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use your fingers like a mouse.
• Game Play
  • Interface
    • The art box has six slots for artwork. Select any of these to edit your previously saved pieces.
    • Select the green button on the lower center corner to start a new art piece.
    • Next to green button is the customization button. Select it to decorate your art box cover.
  • Starting fresh
    • Workspace
      • At the bottom row are the different options you can use to create art. Left to right, they are:
        • Brushes and crayons: paint and draw in a solid color
        • Eraser: removes part of the picture completely
        • Natural art tools: Use these to add natural shapes and colors to your picture.
        • Stickers: Add cartoon stickers to your scene.
          • Choose a sticker from the list
          • Select any part of your picture to place the sticker.
          • Select any of the four points surrounding your sticker to resize it.
          • To rotate your sticker, select the fifth point on top of your sticker.
        • Special designs: Insert moving animals to your picture.
        • Backgrounds: Select various materials to act as your canvas.
      • To the right of the art tools is the save option.
        • Select one of six compartments to save your work.
        • You can access and edit your work again the next time you open the game.
      • On the right side of the screen are colors.
        • You have 9 colors to choose from.
        • Use the slider below the color palette to change the size of your brush.
          • Drag the cursor up to make your brush bigger.
          • Make it smaller by dragging the cursor down.
        • Colors apply both to paints and crayons and to specific natural objects.
          • Berry squirts are in full color.
          • Mud splats are in various shades of brown.
      • The workspace is identical for both the art pieces and the box cover.
  • Load a previous work
    • To load a previous work, select its thumbnail from the art box.
    • You can edit the work again and save it.
      • To save your changes, select the same slot you saved your piece the first time.
      • If you want to keep the old one, you can save it in a different slot.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for children of all ages and for fans of the PBS series Nature Cat.
    • Enterprising students may use this game to create NFT blockchain art and retire before they finish elementary school. 😉
