Number Connect Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game

      • To match a number, the path between them must not have more than 2 right angle turns.
      • Adjacent numbers can be removed right away.
    • Remove all the numbers to clear the level.
    • After the first level, the numbers on each stage fill in a specific direction.
      • Pay attention to where the blocks are falling; this will determine how you should remove the numbers.
      • Typically it is best to move numbers from the opposite side of the fill direction first.
      • When there are adjacent tile matches in an orthogonal direction to the fill direction be sure to make those matches before removing other stones which would remove the match alignment.
    • Use assistance options to help you if you’re ever stuck.
      • Keep playing until you run out of assistance options.
      • If you want, you can quit the game and come back to it later.
        • Your browser will load the latest level you’ve unlocked.
        • Your progress on that level will be saved.
  • Assistance
    • You have two assistance options:
      • Shuffles will rearrange the entire field of numbers.
      • Hints will show you one possible pair of numbers in the field.
    • You start with 5 of each assistance option.
    • Unlike in other games, hints and shuffles cost you no points. But you only have a limited number of them.
    • You can replenish either a hint or a shuffle each time you finish a level.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points each time you remove a pair of numbers.
    • The score you earned in the last level you unlocked is saved when you quit and reload the game.
    • Your high score is only displayed on the welcome screen when you reach a game over.
