This is an endless flying and shooting game inspired by the Disney Channel animated series Penn Zero: Part Time Hero. As with the rest of the series (and the episode it’s based on), this game isn’t just your run on the mill fantasy adventure with dragons. It’s a parallel world about dragon aviators in flight school who feel a need for speed. Join Penn and his wingmen as they take on the jokers besieging Wingfire Academy.
Feel the need for speed. You’re gonna need it to dodge your enemies.
Take out targets and foes to earn coins.
Use your coins to buy upgrades and unlock other player characters.

Earn 10,000 coins to unlock Sashi or Boone.
Basic rules
Attacking and navigating
Begin moving by left clicking or tapping on the screen.
Your attack and movement are done with similar moves.
Use short and rapid clicks or taps to attack.
Use long clicks and taps with motions to move.
This can be pretty tricky as you will need to switch modes quickly to respond to enemies.
Fly for as long as you can until you get hit by an enemy.
You can pay for continues with your coins.
The worm offers you continues whenever you can afford it.
Continues start at 200 coins but get pricier with each use. Each new continue costs 2x more than the previous one.
You can also use the hearts powerup to help you keep flying for longer. 3 hearts (at 300 coins) cost less than the equivalent amount of continues.
See the distance you traveled on the counter at the top center of the screen.
The game marks where your previous record is.
Enemies and lives
You can choose to attack or evade enemies.
Often it’s easier to evade enemies unless they stay put and attack you.
When dealing with enemies that attack you, it’s often easier to attack then evade.
Enemies vary in their attack strategy:
Small purple gargoyle-type enemies either come in rows or try to dive-bomb you. They’re relatively easy to take out.
Flying sharks fire energy balls at you. Hit them while dodging their attacks.
Cloud monsters are tougher than most enemies but don’t attack. You can try to take them out with enough hits or just evade them.
Rippen (in a form of a dragon in a suit) cannot be taken out with ease. He’s easy to dodge if he’s not breathing fire.
Making contact with enemies or their shots will end the game unless you have spare hearts or a continue.
Badges
You start the game with 4,000 coins.
Collect the golden badges as you fly.
When you collect all 3 badges, Blaze the dragon will help you clear out your on-screen enemies.
Achievements
Accomplish the following goals in the game to receive a bonus:
Take out 10 targets with your dragon breath.
Earn 100 coins.
Shoot 100 enemies.
Defeat 10 enemies with blast.
The progress you make toward achievements carry over with each playthrough.
After you finish one achievement, you get another one in your next playthrough.
Coins
You earn coins by taking out targets and enemies with your dragon breath.
Use the coins you’ve earned to buy continues, upgrades, and new characters.
Daily reward
You get secret daily rewards for every day you play the game.
Select the reward of the day to unlock it.
Earn more valuable rewards for every consecutive day you play for up to 6 days.
Shop
Visit the shop to buy 4 kinds of power ups.
Fire shield: Stay protected for 15 seconds (200 coins)
Dragon blast: Shoot with more power for 15 seconds (200 coins)
Dice: Get a random positive or negative game bonus (300 coins)
Hearts: Get an extra turn each time you get hit. These are a cheaper alternative to continues.
1 heart (150 coins)
2 hearts (240 coins)
3 hearts (300 coins)
These power ups are 1-time use and last only for a brief time.
You can only have 2 power-ups (a set of hearts + one of the other 3) active at any one time.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like the Penn Zero animated series.
Older fans of the show who like 1980s movies will also like the shout-outs to Top Gun.
The game has no adult themed content.
Hey, This Seems Familiar
The game’s theme (and the episode of the show it’s based on) is a shout-out to one of the most iconic movies of the 1980s: Top Gun. Kenny Loggins did a few songs for that episode, all based on his signature song in the film.
