Tennis X Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Choose a country’s flag to start the game. There are 5 available countries.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and hold, then drag to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the screen with your fingers to move.
• Game Play
  • Individual matches
    • Unlike in some of our other tennis games, your side is on top, while the computer player is on the bottom.
    • While you play 1 vs 1 there is no need to serve at an angle cross court & you can use the entire court surface as though it is a 2-player game.
    • There is no out of bounds. If you hit the sides of the screen the ball bounces back & if you shoot long it still counts as a score.
    • Keep the ball in play by getting near it. Hit it onto the opposing player’s side.
      • The ball can bounce on the ground once.
        • The ball may even bounce off the sides of the screen back into play.
        • If you hit the ball it can bounce again on your side of the net and you can hit it again.
        • You can hit the ball an unlimited number of consecutive times provided it does not bounce more than once between hits.
        • You can even hit your serves off the net then get a second swing on them to send them over the net & in another direction. 😀
      • A player scores if they meet the following conditions:
        • Their opponent fails to reach the ball by the second bounce.
        • The opponent also misses the ball entirely.
        • The opponent fails to hit the ball when it stops squarely at the net.
      • Whoever scores the point gets the next serve.
    • Be the first player to reach 10 points to win.
      • Your score is shown on the top left corner, while your computer opponent’s is shown on the top right corner.
  • Tournament
    • You play 5 matches against opposing players in all 5 countries in the game.
    • You play a home match in the last game.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple tennis games.
    • The simplicity of this game & the ability to repeatedly strike the ball makes it a good fit for younger children.
    • Older players with more tennis experience would likely prefer some of our other more realistic & true to form tennis games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
