Farming 10×10 Line Making Logic Puzzle Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the screen to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen, select the rickety plywood play button at the center to begin.
  • To the left and right of the play button are two other buttons:
    • On the left is the information button. Select this to see the game’s developer credits.
    • On the right is the instructions button. Select this to learn about the rules and objectives of the game.
  • The sound button on the top right corner lets you toggle the game’s audio.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

    • Using your mouse, left click and drag the individual crop pieces into the field.

      • On the top left corner is your current score.
      • On the top center is your highest score.

    • Playing field
      • The playing field occupies about 2/3 of the screen.
      • As per the title, the field is 10 x 10.
    • Bottom row
      • A menu shows the available pieces for placement.
  • Basic gameplay
    • Place as many of the shapes into the field as possible to plant them.
      • After placing all 3 shapes into the field, 3 new shapes appear.
      • You must have a valid location for all these shapes to continue playing the game.
    • To clear the plants from the field, create a full horizontal or vertical row across the field.
      • It’s important to keep creating full lines to keep the space open for more shapes.
      • You can create and clear multiple rows at the same time.
    • The game ends when you run out of spaces ton place crops.
  • Scoring
    • Each space is worth 1 point.
    • Each line you clear is worth 10 points, with a multiplier bonus for multiple lines removed at once.. To maximize your points, clear several lines at once.
      • Removing 2 lines at once is worth 30 points.
      • Removing 3 lines at once is worth 60 points.
      • Removing 4 lines at once is worth 100 points.
      • Removing 5 lines at once is worth 150 points.
    • Removing 3 lines at once is not too hard early in the game using either a 3×3 or 3×1 piece, but it can be hard to remove 5 lines at once & the longer you get into your game the more conservative you should be to keep the game going.
  • Strategy
    • Place each item with care. You want to maximize the amount of usable space available.
    • Stay organized. Keep all the major constructions and the lines in a single area to conserve clear space.
    • Prioritize larger or oddly-shaped pieces.
      • Avoid creating voids between lines where you can’t place all but the smallest pieces.
      • Try to make sure that there’s always enough space for larger pieces, preferably where they can make a line.
      • On some deals you will get 2 3×3 pieces as part of the same set, so you should try to keep availability for playing those.
      • Pieces can not be turned. Some pieces can be 5 units long vertical or horizontal & some are shaped like a 3 wide and 3 tall L in any orientation.
    • When game over is inevitable, see if you can create a line somewhere or lay down the largest piece available. This will give you an end score boost.
