Halloween Breaker Video Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click the play button at the bottom of the game’s welcome screen.
  • The welcome screen contains 3 buttons across the top: developer information, full screen mode, and sound control.

    • Use your mouse left click to select tiles where a matching tile is above, below, left, or right of it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your finger to select tiles for removal.
• Game Play
  • Layout
    • The top right corner of the playing field have 3 buttons to set the game to full screen mode, control game music, and exit the game.
    • The level shows above the playing field.
    • Remaining lives show at the bottom left of the playing field.
    • Cumulative game score is shown below the playing field to the right.
  • Cell Movement
    • When you remove tiles and there are tiles above it those tiles fall downward.
    • When entire columns are removed the columns left of that space move right.
  • Level Design
    • The playing field contains 72 cells in a field which is 9 rows tall and 8 columns across.
    • The game gets progressively more difficult as more tile types are introduced in subsequent levels.
      • On the first level there are only 2 tile types.
      • On the second level there are 3 tile types.
      • On the third level there are 4 tile types.
      • On the fourth level there are 5 tile types.
  • Scoring
    • In this game you earn far more points removing larger groupings at once than removing two smaller groupings consisting of half the amount each.
    • Be careful with considering ensuring you leave pairs as it is very easy to leave unmatched tiles and lose a life.
  • Dying
    • Each item you click on which is not adjacent to another like item costs you a life.
    • You get a total of 3 lives across all levels. When you spend those it is game over.
