This is a tile matching game where players select any two identical tiles to have the tiles above them fall down into place, or swap the places of adjacent tiles to help put sets into positions. The goal of the game is to remove tiles quickly, and try to create matches of 3, 4, or 5 of a kind to boost your game score. This is the sequel to Jolly Jong Blitz, and the only difference between the two games is the ability to select non-matching adjacent tiles to switch their positions.
- Select two of any identical tiles from anywhere on the board to remove them, or select any non-matching tiles which are adjacent to swap their positions on the board.
- When any pairs or sets are made tiles from the associated columns fall downward, creating space for new tiles to enter the top of the board.
- Remove tiles quickly to maximize your score.
- Remove tiles strategically so that matches of 3 or more fall into place & either add more play time or multiply your game score.

- Game Play
- Levels
- This is a single-level game where players have a minute to score as many points as they can.
- The playing field consists of an 8×8 grid containing 64 gems.
- Tile matching
- In this game you can match any identical set of two tiles no matter where they are located on the board.
- The tiles need not be open or adjacent.
- The tiles you match must be both the same color and shape.
- As you make sets the remaining tiles fall downward, which can create a chain reaction making other sets.
- Tile swapping
- You can swap the positions of any non-matching adjacent tiles.
- Swaps do not require you to make a matching set in order to be considered valid.
- You can repeatedly swap a tile with other tiles to move it across the board to make a larger run.
- Matching rewards
- As you remove tile pairs other tiles fall downward, which can create additional sets.
- Match 3 in a row to add 5 seconds to your play time.
- Match 4 in a row to double your score.
- Match 5 in a row to quadruple your score.
- The score multipliers apply to the pre-existing score you have at the time the match is made.
- Automated matches must be horizontal or vertical.
- Diagonal matches do not count.
- When you are trying to make longer match sets it is generally easier to make horizontal sets since you can obtain a match from columns on either end, versus trying to make a match in the middle.
- Technically to make a match of 5 in a row the move will almost always require to be horizontal instead of vertical as matches of 3 or more are autoplayed.
- To make a match of 5 you end up needing to move the center tile into position in the set.
- Scoring
- When you remove tiles you may score points.
- If you remove an individual isolated set of tiles you do not score, however if you remove multiple pairs in rapid succession you score points on every set after the first based upon the amount of time it took you to make each subsequent set.
- You can also score points based on the above matching of 4 or 5 in a row.
- Whenever you make moves adjacent matches of 3 or more are automatically completed by the computer.
- Identical adjacent cells are not autoplayed by the computer if the match is 2 or fewer.
- Autoplay can set off a chain reaction of multiple consecutive sets.
- When the game ends it shows both your final score, and how well you progressed scoring points throughout the minute of game play.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Mahjong tile matching games.
- This game is the sequel to Jolly Jong Blitz.
- The gameplay is the same across both games with the exception that this game allows you to swap positions of adjacent tiles & the original game did not.
- The ability to swap tiles makes it easier to create longer sets and earn a higher total score in Jolly Jong Blitz 2.
- The game has no adult themed content.
