We Bare Bears Feathered Chase Running & Jumping Pigeon Chase Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the red Play button on the bottom right of the screen to start.
  • Press the ? button for instructions.
• Game Controls
  • Use the arrow keys to control your stack of bears.
    • Up arrow to jump.
    • Left arrow to fire a flash backwards.
    • Right arrow to fire a flash forwards.
• Game Play
  • It can happen to anyone. A pigeon steals your backpack. There is nothing to be done but stack your bears and use your phone flash to fend off birds, and then post pictures of them to Insta. That’s the game.
    • As you try and catch the wayward pigeon, other birds will attack you. To stun them, fire your phone flash in their direction.
    • If you time it right, you’ll both stun the birds and get their picture. This will earn you extra points.
    • If a bird hits one of your bears, after 2 hits you’ll lose that bear. If you lose all your bears, the game ends.
  • Don’t get hit
    • Birds poop. A lot. You need to jump the bird poop or you will lose a bear after getting hit twice. The birds which are brown always poop in front of you and as you get later into the game sometimes there are two of them consecutively. You typically can not kill the brown birds that poop as they are out of reach of your camera.
    • In some cases there is a fast moving bird from the front of the screen which shows 3 red lines before appearing. Unless you are invincible you can not hurt them, so you have to jump over them to avoid their fast attacks.
  • Using your camera
    • The gray birds take one camera snap to defeat.
      • You should not snap the flash at the gray birds with a blue hat as they will not hit you and flashing them costs you 100 points each.
    • The birds wearing a red cap take two snaps to defeat.
    • Be warned you can not use your camera while you are in the middle of a jump.
    • Some of the birds you have to take a snapshot of will not go away without you taking their picture, so you shouldn’t presume you’ll be able to dodge most of them (other than the fast low flying ones from the front of the screen which you must dodge).
  • Power up
    • As you pass electrical poles if you touch the transformers you’ll get temporary invincibility.
    • Birds won’t be able to get near you as you glow electric blue and spit bolts of pure energy.
    • Be warned not to be too reliant on the invincibility as it quickly goes away without warning.
  • Scoring points
    • Almost everything in this game is worth points. You can score points by taking a picture of a bird, jumping over bird poop, jumping over a fast moving low flying bird, killing a bird while you have the blue electricity power up.
  • How to win
    • You’ll pass percentage signs as you go. Get to 100% and you’ll catch the pigeon with your backpack, retrieve your bag and win the game.
    • If you flash most of the bad birds without flashing the birds wearing a blue hat you’ll score betwen 15,000 and 17,000 points by the end of the game.
      • I didn’t realize you were *not* supposed to flash the birds wearing the blue hat and had 14,550 points the first time I beat the game.
• Audience
  • This game will suit children of all ages. Younger children will likely enjoy the cute visuals, although it does take a bit of skill and dexterity to fend off the waves of fast attacking birds.
  • There is no adult imagery in this game.
  • You don’t really post to Instagram. Well, not in the game. But if you wanted to take a screenshot of your score and share it with your friends, the pigeons can’t stop you. 😀
