Iceland Adventure 2 Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button below the title of the game to begin.

  • Select the i button on the bottom left corner to open the game’s tutorial screen.

      • Use the W or the up arrow key to jump.

      • Use the X or L keys for the snow attack.
      • Use the K or Z keys for the hammer attack.

    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the directional pad on the bottom left corner to move, climb, and spin.
      • Tap on the jump button on the bottom right corner to jump.
      • Tap on the snowball or hammer buttons on the bottom right corner to attack.

  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
    • Each time you finish one level, you unlock the next one.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Basic rules
    • Make your way to the end of the level.
    • Pick up coins and keys.
      • Coins add to your score.
      • The keys are essential in unlocking the door at the end of the level. You must collect all keys for the door to open.
      • The keys often appear near treasure chests, but you can’t open the treasure chests & they are just background visual decorations.
    • Avoid or take out enemies.
    • Dodge various hazards like spikes, bombs, or falling off platform.
      • You can throw snowballs at the bombs to defuse them.
    • Use the hammer attack to remove ice walls.
  • Hit points and enemies
    • Life bar
      • Your life bar shows you the amount of damage you can take before you fail the level.
        • See the life bar on the top left corner of the screen.
        • Hitting an enemy will cause you to lose hit points.
        • If you fall into a pit of spikes or a bottomless chasm, you will fail the entire level regardless.
      • You can replenish your hit points by picking up hearts.
    • Enemies
      • Enemies include walruses, penguins, and seabirds.
      • Each time an enemy makes contact with you, you lose hit points.
      • Hit them with a snowball or the hammer to get rid of them.
    • Hazards
      • Spikes, bombs, and chasms represent hazards. They are stationary dangers that must be avoided.
      • Bombs affect you the same way as enemies do. You can also remove them by attacking them.
      • Chasms and spikes are instant death. If you fall into them, you die.
