- Game Play
- Levels
- This game has 45 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- If you lose a level you can replay it an unlimited number of times.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
- Shots
- Basics
- The angle of your impulse determines the direction the ball will move.
- Your proximity to the ball determines how much force you use to push the ball.
- If you run out of shots or any of your golf balls run into a hazard you lose the hole and must replay it.
- Most levels give you 15 impulses, though some more difficult levels can give you 20 or 30 impulses.
- Tips
- Hitting moving balls
- On most levels you typically want to wait until balls stop before setting off another impulse.
- The camera angle on the game can zoom in and out periodically, which can throw off your shot if you take another shot while the camera angle changes.
- If the ball is close to a hazard and you need to hit to avoid it then try to quickly set off an impulse and ensure the angle prevents the ball from hitting the hazard.
- Narrow passages & hazards
- If you are near a narrow passage or a hazard and need to shift the balls angle sometimes it can be helpful to do a bank shot off a course boundary rather than hitting directly.
- Multiple balls
- Some holes have multiple balls on them.
- Each ball must make it into the hole with the flag matching the color of the ball.
- Balls are not allowed to fall into holes of other colors.
- Shot strategy
- If you have many shots remaining and are close to beating the hole you can set off your impulses from a bit of a distance and then move closer to the ball over time, so that you are doing small nudges rather than a large shot.
- When you need to make it around corners or are moving near hazards try to have the ball roll slower so you have more granular control & more time to react if you need to set off a second shot.
- Try not to set off impulses while the screen is zooming in or out, or else it will likely throw off your aim.
- If the hole does not have hazards near it and you need to move a long distance it can make sense to blast close to the ball to give it a lot of energy.
- Your balls can bounce off each other, so consider moving your balls in a way where you do not accidentally knock one ball into a hazard by hitting it with another ball.
- So long as the ball goes over the hole you can have it roll with excessive force and it will still go down into the hole.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like minigolf or physics games.
- This game is the sequel to Impulse Ball. We recommend playing the original game before playing the second game in the series.
- The game has no adult themed content.
